Completely Care are recruiting for residential children’s workers to work in a number of children’s homes across Northampton and Milton Keynes. This role will be providing compassionate support to vulnerable young people, helping to develop life skills and independence.
Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact in their lives? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker (RCW) to join our team and provide high-quality care in a supportive residential setting.
About the Role:
As an RCW, you’ll be working directly with children and young people who may present with complex needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties, or trauma backgrounds. Your role will be to offer consistent care, build trusting relationships, and help them achieve their potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

What You’ll Do:
Provide day-to-day care, support and guidance
Assist with routines, activities, and key life skills
De-escalate challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner
Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
Work collaboratively with the team and external professionals
What We’re Looking For:
-Must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children or young people with complex needs.
-NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential
-Strong communication and resilience
-Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
-Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
