The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of The Connect to Work Programme in York and North Yorkshire. The Programme, a major element of the Government's Get Britain Working Strategy, aims to support disabled people, those with health conditions and people with complex barriers to employment, to seek to find sustainable work. You will be a part of a small, multi-disciplined team, responsible for providing management and administrative support for effective programme management of the programme. You will work closely with colleagues both internally and externally to build and maintain relationships with delivery partners and key stakeholders. You will also assist with the development of the systems and processes required to manage and report on operational performance so that the Combined Authority can achieve excellence in delivery.
What you will bring
To be successful you will have in depth knowledge of contracting documentation, systems and processes and experience of management systems to track and report on performance in a complex operational environment. Experience of working within strict funding guidance is desirable.
You will also possess
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in disseminating information via written reports and presentations to a wide range of audiences in terms of both size and composition
* The ability to establish effective working relationships, both internally and with a range of external organisations.
We are looking for candidates with contracting experience and would welcome applicants who have had experience of working within HM Government funding guidance.
