The Role: We are currently seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Due to our delivery model, we require flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and at weekends.

What you'll be doing: As a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at GBS, you will deliver management-related modules in the above areas. You will develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment of students, and keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met
* Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate
* Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
* Engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties
* Staying updated with latest developments in your field and student support practices
* Working towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression
About you:
* Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
* Experience with accurate reporting and maintaining student records
* Ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people
Desirable:
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enroll and complete within three years) or HEA Fellowship (or international equivalent)
* Experience in designing/developing academic or professional education programmes
