Job Title: Lettings Manager – Romford, Essex Company Overview: Clearview Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a successful and forward-thinking independent estate and lettings agency based in Romford (RM1). Role Overview Senior Lettings Manager: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join a fun, driven office and play a key part in expanding the lettings portfolio. You’ll be working with a strong team of Property Managers, with access to ARLA-funded training, and the chance to lead your own team of Negotiators (target permitting). Key Responsibilities Lettings Manager: Conduct valuations, attend viewings (if needed), and manage negotiations between landlords and tenants Build strong relationships with landlords and convert new business opportunities Registering applicants and matching them to available properties Negotiating offers and letting agreements Oversee the lettings process from valuation through to property management handover Supporting the growth of the managed portfolio Collaborating with the wider lettings and property management team Proactively develop and execute strategies to increase our managed property portfolio Contribute ideas and feedback to support marketing campaigns and landlord outreach Ensure full legal compliance with current lettings legislation including right to rent, deposit protection, licensing, and safety standards Act as a key point of contact for new and existing landlords Provide knowledgeable, accurate advice and maintain high levels of communication Skills and Qualifications Lettings Manager : Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential lettings Strong knowledge of current lettings legislation Proven ability to convert leads and generate new business Excellent communication and customer service skills Full UK driving licence and access to own car ARLA qualification preferred – or willingness to study (training funded) Organised, proactive and motivated to progress Package and Benefits Lettings Manager : £26,000 – £30,000 basic salary with an OTE £50,000 Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm 1 in 2 Saturdays, with a day off in lieu (10am - 4pm) Funded and supported ARLA training and qualifications Supportive, sociable team with a fun office culture Work-life balance genuinely valued On-site parking
