Your new role
As Head of Science, you will:
5. Lead and manage the Science department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages
6. Drive student oues through effective curriculum planning, assessment, and intervention strategies
7. Support, coach and develop a team of teachers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
8. Contribute to whole-school improvement as a key member of the middle leadership team
9. Promote a passion for science through an engaging and inclusive curriculum
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for:
10. A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge across Science
11. Proven experience of teaching Science to both GCSE and A-Level
12. Previous leadership experience in science is essential
13. Physics specialism is desirable but not essential
14. A track record of improving oues and delivering high-quality teaching
15. Strong organisational,munication, and leadership skills
