I am recruiting a CARING and PASSIONATE service manager to oversee a service for care leavers in Colwyn Bay that supports young people between 16 and 25. The service is looking for experienced leaders who have managed or served as a deputy manager in a similar setting.

Service Managers work alongside the Area Manager and the Senior Leadership team, enabling the Support teams to deliver quality service to the people they support. They are also responsible for managing and building positive relationships with all stakeholders and implementing our vision and values to deliver first-class service.

* Salary: £33,820.80 to £41,360.80
* Hours: Full-Time (2 on 4 of shift Pattern)
* Contract: Permanent

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
* Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care.
* Oversee all aspects of the operation of the home, including staffing, compliance and health and safety.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families
* Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring that each resident is treated with compassion, empathy, and understanding.
* Conduct regular reviews of residents' needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Keep abreast of developments in care practices, legislation, and regulations, and ensure that the home operates in compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines.
Requirements for the Service Manager:
* NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a care leavers setting, with a strong understanding of the complexities and challenges associated.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices governing mental health care, CIW standards.
* A compassionate and person-centred approach to care.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
