Panel Wirer Role Overview A skilled Panel Wirer with Electrical Fitter skills is required to join an existing team. This role involves the assembly of products in accordance with instructions provided by the Assembly Manager, ensuring compliance with the production schedule and quality standards. Panel Wirer Hours, Pay and Benefits * £32,000 - £33,000 (possibly negotiable) * 37 hours per week, 8:00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, with a 1pm finish on Friday’s * Benefits: 6.5% employer pension contribution, 3 x salary life assurance, 34 days holiday Commutable From: Nottingham, Derby, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Loughborough Panel Wirer Essential Candidate Requirements * Proven ability to mount electrical hardware and components to frames and panels. * Experience in wiring low voltage instrumentation, 110v/230v mains equipment, control panels, or bespoke instrumentation systems. * Ability to read engineering drawings, adhering to various global standards. * Demonstrated experience working within an assembly area, as well as maintaining high-quality standards throughout each task. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and communication. Panel Wirer Key Responsibilities (but limited to) * Accurately assemble a variety of bench and frame-mounted products based on drawing specifications, ensuring the correct components are selected and used. * Ensure that all assembly work is performed to the correct drawing revision as specified in the build pack. * Accurately log time spent on tasks using the booking terminals. * Maintain in-house quality standards for components used in the assembly process. * Conduct thorough self-inspection of completed work prior to passing it to other departments for further processing. * Identify any issues and report them promptly to the Assembly Manager for resolution.
