The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Green Hub staff team at Gower College Swansea. Many of the learners have additional learning needs and some display challenging behaviour.
Casual/Bank hours£18.23 - £35.89 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)Tycoch campus
Key Responsibilities:
To deliver Landscaping & Horticulture learners aged 14 -19Actively contribute to the 14 - 19 curriculum Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners
About you:
Qualified teacher with experience of working with hard to reach learners Enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors / sustainable horticulture / landscaping and eco constructionExcellent learner management skills coupled with the tenacity, commitment and patience to deal with a variety of learners, many with ALN and challenging behaviour.
