About the Opportunity
Sydney Executive Plus, a strategic initiative of the University of Sydney Business School, connects academic expertise with real-world business practice. Designed for modern executives, our programs offer flexible, digital-first learning focused on emerging trends in business, technology, and society.
As the initiative continues to grow, we're seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Project Officer to provide executive support to the Director(s) and operational leadership across multiple work streams. This hybrid role is primarily office-based, requiring on-campus presence four days per week, with flexibility for remote work on the fifth day.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-level executive support to the Director(s), coordinating day-to-day operations and ensuring efficient coordination of critical activities
* Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling enquiries with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy
* Draft and review correspondence, reports, and briefing materials, and manage complex calendar and travel arrangements
* Support project planning and delivery across multiple work streams, including scheduling, logistics, documentation, and reporting
* Monitor project milestones, budgets, and deliverables, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
* Maintain effective administrative systems and ensure compliance with University policies and procedures
* Build strong working relationships with senior leaders, staff, and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives
About You
We're looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and brings a strategic mindset to operational and project support, confidently exercising sound judgment and discretion to navigate complex dynamics and influence outcomes with credibility.
* Highly organised, detail oriented, and experienced in managing complex administrative and project tasks
* Skilled in coordinating multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure
* Experienced in executive support and project coordination within professional or education-focused settings
* A confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management tools and CRM systems
