We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee all commercial aspects of a large highways projects on the Surrey / Hampshire border. You’ll work closely with the delivery team, ensuring contractual compliance, cost control, and risk management while supporting client relationships and mentoring junior team members.
Duties
* Lead commercial activities across project lifecycle, including procurement, cost control, and reporting.
* Prepare and manage subcontract packages, tender evaluations, and final accounts.
* Maximise cash flow through timely valuations and invoicing.
* Monitor resources and costs to meet or exceed project targets.
* Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and change control processes.
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain accurate records.
* Support carbon reduction and sustainability objectives.
Person Specification
* Proven experience in commercial management within construction.
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, procurement, and financial reporting.
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to lead and develop a team.

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday
