Site Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist - Lockerbie
Reporting to the Senior QEHS Manager, you will be responsible for managing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities on site, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in fostering a safe, healthy, and inclusive workplace and supporting operational excellence.
Act as the central point for EHS initiatives across departments. Embed a strong quality and food safety mindset within your area of responsibility. Uphold Arla Foods standards and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. Assist in the development of site-specific policies & objectives aligned with business goals. Coordinate maintenance of site EHS improvement plans. Liaise with local authorities and actively participate in external audits. Collect, analyze, and report EHS data to site and business group management. Collaborate closely with Production, QEHS, Planning & Logistics, Engineering, and Finance teams daily, using proactive engagement and coaching to drive improvements and facilitate knowledge sharing across departments.
