You will be one of the following: a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker trained in Mental Health.
LaDS is an all-age, all-vulnerability service operating in Police Custody Suites and Courts in the Wiltshire area. We are an assessment service working closely with the Police and other CJS professionals to ensure the most effective pathway for individuals in custody who may be vulnerable or suffering from mental health issues.
We work with service users with various vulnerabilities, and you must be able to confidently assess different needs in potentially challenging circumstances. You should be able to work with individuals experiencing mental health crises, learning disabilities, substance misuse, and extreme emotional distress.
