GSL Education are seeking a dedicated FS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive client school in Nottingham (NG7). As an FS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum Create a warm, safe, and well-structured learning environment that promotes exploration and play Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, maintaining accurate learning journals Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and early academic development Work closely with teaching assistants and Early Years staff to ensure consistent support Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children’s progress and wellbeing Identify and support children with additional needs, promoting inclusive practice Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching within an FS1 or Early Years setting Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development A patient, caring, and creative approach to teaching young children Strong communication and classroom management skills An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply one with GSL Education Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new application.
