Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 4/5 Location: Sheffield Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until the 1st of December 2024 Rate: £15 - £22 per hour Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our clinical trials team in Guildford. This is a permanent position, but we are open to considering interim candidates. Duties and Responsibilities: You will dispense medications accurately and efficiently. You will maintain and manage pharmacy inventory. You will provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience. Proven experience in dispensing is required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
