As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Corporate Development Associate to provide essential operational, research, and transaction support to our Senior Leadership Team. This role will be instrumental in building and managing the M&A pipeline, coordinating transaction processes, and supporting the smooth integration and ongoing oversight of acquisitions and portfolio companies. About The Role This role offers exposure to the full M&A lifecycle, from sourcing and building a pipeline of potential opportunities through to transaction execution and post-deal integration. Working closely with the Group COO, you will contribute to origination efforts, support due diligence and deal management, and assist in monitoring portfolio company performance, directly driving the Group’s growth strategy. Roles and Responsibilities: M&A Administration & Support • Originate and track M&A opportunities, maintaining CRM systems for pipeline, deal flow, and stakeholder interactions. • Support full M&A execution, from target identification and due diligence through to integration. • Coordinate due diligence across financial, legal, commercial, and operational workstreams, including management of electronic data rooms. • Oversee legal documentation and negotiated clauses, ensuring version control, accurate filing, and capturing key learnings. • Manage information flows between targets, internal teams, and external advisers. • Assist CFO with financial models, valuations, and transaction analyses. • Prepare due diligence reports, investor materials, and presentations. • Conduct and maintain industry, market, and company research databases. • Ensure organised electronic filing and compliance for confidential documents. Portfolio Management Support: • Assisting the SLT to track and monitor the performance of portfolio companies. • Assist in collecting and validating performance data from portfolio companies for reporting purposes. • Contribute to the preparation of Board and investor reports. General Team Support: • Liaise with internal departments, external advisers, and stakeholders professionally. • Maintain confidentiality and uphold corporate governance standards. • Identify opportunities to improve information sharing and administrative processes. • Support ad hoc projects, analysis, and operational improvement initiatives, providing flexible assistance as priorities evolve. Essential Criteria: • Minimum 1 year of M&A experience (in-house, advisory, or professional services). • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred (or strong M&A experience in lieu). • Experience with financial models and investment analysis (advantageous). • Strong research, analytical, and industry/market assessment skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and written/verbal communication. • Proactive, problem-solving self-starter who works well independently and in teams. • Discreet in handling sensitive/confidential information. • Demonstrated interest in business, finance, and corporate development.
