Tennial Personnel are actively seeking an experienced Production Technician with three-phase electrical testing experience to join a growing, family-run manufacturing business based in Risby, near Bury St Edmunds. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity following a successful 12-week working period, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, offering an hourly rate of £13.00£14.00 per hour depending on experience.
The role sits within an exciting and rapidly developing sector, offering hands-on involvement in a specialist manufacturing project supporting the launch of a newly designed product destined for international deployment. You will be joining a close-knit team where quality, safety, and precision are critical, within a business that continues to grow day by day and offers long-term opportunities for the right individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical testing on equipment involving three-phase power
Support mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations as required
Use precision tools and calibrated electrical test equipment correctly and safely
Work to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and test procedures
Conduct electrical safety checks and functional testing
Accurately record test results and support fault identification
Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures
Support wider production and build activities when required
Report any safety, quality, or process issues promptly
Skills Required
Proven experience testing three-phase electrical systems
Strong understanding of electrical safety, isolation, and lock-off procedures
Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and test documentation
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Flexible, team-oriented approach with willingness to support multiple production disciplines
Qualifications Required
Recognised electrical qualification or certification (preferred)
Background within manufacturing, testing, or industrial electrical environments
