About the Role
We are looking for an individual to join our Business & Management Department at Hartpury University.
* You will aspire to ensure the continuous improvement of the student experience, teaching and learning excellence, and have clear appreciation of industry application and impact in the curriculum
* The candidate will support wider business curriculum at both undergraduate and postgraduate level
About You
* You will have a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent, and bring with you experience of the applied equestrian business management industry. We are interested in those with experience in equestrian business, specifically project management, public relations, marketing, sales, event management and hospitality
* You will have a higher education teaching qualification or professional recognition (e.g. FHEA/SFHEA or equivalent) or a commitment to complete one within one year
* As a business academic, your experience of working in applied contexts will enable you to develop and contribute to teaching and learning activities across a range of general business and management modules
* You will be committed to creating a high‑quality student experience, evidenced through a focus on excellence within teaching and learning. A record of active scholarship and knowledge exchange is essential
* You will also have a clear appreciation of the connectivity between theory and practice and the ability to foster industry partnerships to develop placement links for our students
* You will be able to contribute across the wider department and demonstrate a flexible skill set
