Key Responsibilities - CNC grinding machinist Set up and operate CNC surface and cylindrical grinding machines Interpret complex aerospace engineering drawings and process specifications Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and exact surface finishes Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, comparators, and other precision instruments Perform routine machine maintenance and tool cleaning Accurately complete production and quality documentation Adhere to Health & Safety and quality assurance protocols Collaborate with QA and Manufacturing Engineering teams to meet design and customer standards Required Skills & Experience Proven experience with CNC grinding in aerospace or precision engineering Strong knowledge of geometric tolerancing, machining principles, and CNC programming Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings Familiarity with AS9100 standards (preferred) Skilled in using micrometers, verniers, and gauges High attention to detail and commitment to quality Self-motivated and adaptable; able to work independently or as part of a team Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / CNC Machining (preferred) Why Apply?
