Resident Communications Advisor
As Resident Communicationss Advisor, you will be responsible for disseminating the operational communications that are sent to our residents. You will be responsible for ensuring that all resident facing communications reflect the iQ tone of voice and protect the resident experience, by ensuring they are timely and well planned. This role sits in the Central Operations team, but it will form part of the wider communications group that sits cross-functionally across MarComms and Operations, and you'll work across channels and departments to deliver timely communications that reflect our values and support business objectives.
As a leading provider of student accommodation, we are constantly investing in and improving our properties. A key element of the role will involve the management of all resident-facing communications in relation to any building improvement or refurbishment works, seeking to ensure that residents are well informed and that we are minimising any impact to the student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the point of contact for all service and operations specific communication for sites and the wider business.
* Manage the Operations Communications calendar and be involved with the working groups for check in and check out. While ensuring that communications reflect iQ's tone of voice and have been quality checked prior to sending.
* Participate in the wider content and communications meetings ensuring that the wider team is aware of communications landing with residents as campaigns are planned.
* Working across the property functions, maintain a calendar of key dates related to all building improvement programmes and make sure relevant teams are updated.
* Develop and implement communications plans for current residents in relation to any building improvement works that might impact them and take steps to mitigate any impact to the student experience or any reputational damage.
* Moderate and oversee the iQ App including the site noticeboard ensuring that this tool is being effectively used by Site teams.
* Provide guidance to site teams on operational posts to boost their skills and quality of communications where necessary.
* Ensure messaging complies with GDPR and relevant data protection regulations
* Share insights and recommendations to enhance resident satisfaction and improve operational impact
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in communications or resident/customer engagement
* Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and tone
* Ability to collaborate across functions and engage diverse audiences
We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home / site location.
