Location Manager - Rented Housing
Location: Saddlebrook Court, York
Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum pro rata
About the role
The Location Manager's role is varied and involves working with different individuals daily. You will engage with communities, manage property and tenancy matters, and maintain good relationships with residents. The role requires collaboration across departments, managing relationships with stakeholders and partners.
You will be responsible for:
1. Managing properties and supporting residents to live independently
2. Letting properties, managing rent accounts, addressing anti-social behaviour, and ensuring repairs
3. Listening to residents and resolving issues proactively
4. Handling complaints thoroughly, ensuring residents are heard and informed
5. Maintaining resident trust through effective communication and service delivery
6. Managing budgets and service charge accounts, ensuring high standards of maintenance and repairs
7. Ensuring safety, health, and safety checks and risk assessments are completed as per policies
8. Supporting residents' independence by working with external agencies to access necessary services
9. Encouraging resident participation in social events and community activities
