Tech and Media Associate – Bristol

This firm is now seeking a talented Commercial/IP Associate (3-7 PQE) to join its team in Bristol. This role provides exposure to high-value projects, cutting-edge technologies and international matters, with support for professional growth and progression.
Key responsibilities include:
* Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including outsourcing, SaaS, licensing and collaboration agreements
* Advising clients on IP, IT, data protection and technology-related issues
* Supporting partners and senior team members on complex, high-value transactions
* Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development
* Participating in training and marketing initiatives, with opportunities for international project involvement
Requirements:
* 3-7 PQE (exceptional candidates outside this range will be considered)
* Strong knowledge of IP, IT, technology and data protection law
* Solid experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
* Proven ability to manage your own caseload while assisting on larger projects
* Confidence in dealing directly with clients and providing clear, practical advice
* Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness
