We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team of Mechanical Supervisors and Assistants. This is a great opportunity to work on our client's most high-profile projects and take your career to the next level in a group that's experiencing major growth.
Travel to multiple sites
What's the role:
* Installing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical apparatus and associated ancillary equipment.
* Undertaking risk assessments and associated paperwork, where required, of the relevant activities to ensure a suitable and effective safe system of work.
* Assisting management in the programming of scheduled maintenance aligned to company requirements.
* Installing and maintaining water-related plants, pipework, and associated control equipment.
* Liaising with management and general operatives to ascertain any repair and maintenance requirements that arise or need specific prioritisation.
What you'll need:
* Level 3 qualification/equivalent or above in Mechanical Maintenance.
* Ability to read and translate schematic and technical drawings.
* Experience of working in the utility sector would be an advantage.
* Ability to problem solve and diagnose faults on machinery and equipment.
* A full driving licence and willingness to work away as required.
