As a Assistant Front Office Manager you will be working within the Front of House Department and report directly to the Director of Rooms. Main Duties and Responsibilities include: Foster an environment within Front Office where exceptional hospitality is delivered consistently for internal and external customers To receive customer complaints and ensure the complete satisfaction of the customer. Deliver appropriate service recovery with a view to obtaining their future loyalty. To build an effective, motivated and knowledgeable Front Office Team Keep fully informed of the forecasted business levels and ensure the Front Office is staffed accordingly, reviewing short lead pick-up in particular To act as Incident Controller and perform Duty Manager's duties on the shift To have well developed social skills, to be able to handle all types of people and situations and to have a high level of versatility and flexibility to meet the many varied needs and expectations of the guests in the Hotel Interact with guests as well as leading effectively the Front Office team to achieve and exceed AA 5 Red Star standards and LQA Standards Ensure group arrivals are planned for in advance and appropriate staffing levels are provided to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience Display excellent negotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for the Department, the hotel and our internal and external customers.
