Your Role in the SMR Division
In this exciting position, you’ll be part of the Bournemouth cluster, covering areas like Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch. Forget emergency callouts and unpredictable shifts; you’ll work through a scheduled list of jobs, equipped with everything you need to perform quality work.
What to Expect
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and waiting for you. You’ll be responsible for:
* Routine servicing
* Advanced diagnostics using cutting-edge mobile equipment
* In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
* Providing member advice and recommendations
* Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With SMR, you’ll have the time and resources to do the job right, without the stress of reactive breakdowns.
What You’ll Need
* Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
