Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Scaffolder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures to support construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, as well as proficiency in various construction techniques and tools. The chosen operative will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that scaffolding is erected safely and efficiently, enabling smooth project progression.
Responsibilities
* Construct, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards.
* Collaborate with site supervisors and other tradespeople to determine scaffold requirements for specific projects.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively, ensuring all equipment is maintained in good working order.
* Perform inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure stability and compliance with safety regulations.
* Assist in the fabrication of scaffold components as needed, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety practices.
* Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
