We are looking for someone to join our team, the person will be someone who has a passion to work with children and is ideally qualified in childcare.
We are a Nursery based in Forest Row near Ashdown Forest, we spend a lot of time with the children outside and exploring the Forest. We are looking for someone who enjoys to be outside, sharing stories, creating seasonal crafts and supporting children throughout their day. This is a family run Nursery with a supportive team, we are a nursery that supports each member to continue their professional development and offer regular training. We offer a 4 day week for staff if they wish and try to be flexible to support each employee with their personal lives. Ideally level 2 or 3 qualified or offer of enrolment to childcare qualification
Day to day the position will be to support the children based in the baby and 2 year old room Two week closure over Christmas and main meals provided for staff.
£1000 incentive after qualifying period.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Monitor children's well-being and ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about children's progress and development
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery space
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
