Responsibilities
* Support individual pupils or small groups within the classroom under the direction of the class teacher or SENCO.
* Adapt learning activities and resources to meet each child\'s unique needs and learning style.
* Foster positive relationships and encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilience.
* Support the teacher in implementing behaviour strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and outside agencies to ensure continuity of care and support.
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children or young people in education, care, medical, or youth work settings.
* A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
* An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teaching staff and SEN professionals.
* Availability to start immediately or at short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
