Mechanical Design Engineer – Kingswinford, West Midlands – Salary range £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

What you'll do:
* 3D product and component design using SolidWorks.
* Producing 2D drawings of components and assemblies to BS8888 convention.
* Support prototype build and testing.
* Provide engineering information to enable designs to be transferred to production in the form of CAD models, drawings, samples, specifications and Excel based BOMs.
* Cost-down modifications to existing products.
* Provide assistance and support to overcome product-related problems that arise in the field.

What you'll bring:
* A strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles.
* Relevant Degree, HND or equivalent in an appropriate engineering discipline.
* Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
