We are currently seeking a versatile and efficient Trade Counter and Warehouse Person/Relief Driver to join our team in Eastbourne. This role involves a combination of responsibilities, including handling customer orders and enquiries at the trade counter, managing stock levels in the warehouse, and providing relief driving cover when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greeting customers and assisting them with their orders at the trade counter
* Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Managing stock levels in the warehouse
* Preparing orders for delivery and loading/unloading delivery vehicles
* Driving company vehicles to deliver goods to customers when needed
* Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the trade or construction industry
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* A clean UK driving license with experience driving commercial vehicles
* Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as required
