We’re looking for a Lead Originator to join the Origination Team and work in conjunction with the wider Aggreko IPP Team and will identify, negotiate and ultimately secure opportunities in the UK focussing primarily on Behind-the-Meter (‘BtM’) applications.
As a Lead Originator you will own the external customer relationship as it moves from your initial discussion right the way through to first power, to do this you will work closely with your colleagues in the commercial, legal, development and regulatory teams.

What you’ll do:
6. Originate opportunities for Aggreko IPP to deploy its BtM and Front-of-Meter (FoM) capabilities in the UK market.
7. Provide continuous high-quality feedback from customers on Aggreko IPP’s offering.
8. Support the Commercial Manager and Aggreko IPP legal to structure Heads of Terms (‘HoTs’) and ultimately Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) to capture best value for Aggreko IPP and its customers.
9. Proactively stay up to speed with competitor offerings, market dynamics and new solutions to ensure Aggreko IPP leads in the energy services space.
10. Support the wider Aggreko IPP strategy as it grows into new markets and technologies.
11. Own the relationship with potential BtM customers and respond quickly to queries as they arise, close out actions and ensure opportunities are readily converted into signed agreements.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
12. Wide-ranging experience of the UK renewable energy market origination
13. Proven track record of converting opportunities into delivered projects
14. Familiarity with negotiating complex long-term contracts, often with multiparty scenarios
15. Ability to identify and reconcile business and customer needs in order to build bespoke products and develop current Aggreko IPP offering
16. Knowledge in the day-to-day management of PPAs/CPPAs, including risk management
17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to present high value contract opportunities to the wider Aggreko IPP team.
