Your Role as a Computer Science Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver engaging and accessible Computer Science lessons, adapting content for diverse learning needs.
🔹 Use innovative teaching techniques and digital tools to inspire students in the field of technology.
🔹 Work closely with SEN specialists, therapists, and teaching assistants to support student progress.
🔹 Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging creativity and problem-solving.
🔹 Assess and track student progress, providing tailored feedback to help them succeed.
🔹 Encourage students to explore coding, software development, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies .
🔹 Promote digital literacy and computational thinking, equipping students with essential future skills.
🔹 Collaborate with colleagues to develop an exciting and evolving Computer Science curriculum .
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience as a Computer Science Teacher at secondary level.
✅ Passion for technology and computing, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
✅ Strong communication and adaptability skills to support students with additional needs.
✅ Experience in SEN, alternative provision, or differentiated teaching is desirable but not essential.
✅ A creative and innovative approach to teaching Computer Science.
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
