We are particularly keen to hear from individuals that are duty qualified. The firm are hiring across all their offices in the North-West (Wigan, Manchester and St.Helens). Their current criminal defence department have over 150 years of combined experience, with many their defence lawyers being higher rights advocates. Key responsibilities: Conducting interviews with clients to take instructions on criminal allegations Conducting legal research and advising on points of law and practice Attending the Police Station to provide advice and assistance Attending to represent clients in the Magistrates Court Conducting Crown Court litigation and instructing Counsel Drafting letters and legal documents Working in accordance with the Office Manual Administrative duties Handle a diverse caseload of criminal matters with precision and diligence. Requirements Ideal candidates will be between 0-5 PQE, however our client will consider more experienced candidates with up to 10 years PQE. Hold Duty Solicitor Status.
