The role
Kenect Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Strip Fitter for our longstanding client based in Corby. We are seeking an experienced Strip Fitter who is able to work within an established team, working to a high standard.
Pay rate: from £16 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday
07:00 to 17:00
Responsibilities
Stripping and fitting panelsCarrying out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition in line with approved methodsRemoving parts and panels off a range of vehiclesEnsuring that all nuts, bolts, screws and any other fixings are labelled and correctly stored ready for when the stripped parts and panels are needed to be put back on to the vehicle.Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if requiredTraining bodyshop trainee staffSkills and expertise
Previous experience in a similar roleFull UK Driving LicenceWilling to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customersYou will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when requiredExcellent attention to detail
