Account Assistant - 20 hours per week. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Monitor and maintain the aged debtors list to ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices * Contact customers via phone and email to chase overdue accounts and send monthly statements / reminder letters * Allocate receipts and reconcile customer accounts accurately * Resolve queries related to billing and payments promptly and efficiently * Assist with credit checks and new customer credit applications * Monitor the accounts inbox, assigning tasks to relevant team members * Assist with processing supplier invoices and raising purchase orders * Collaborate closely with internal teams and shared services support to resolve queries * Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation Support the accounts team with ad-hoc tasks as required, including month-end and year-end financial processes, and general administrative duties
