Job Description
The Senior Employment Solicitor will be:
*
Leading high‑value and high‑profile employment matters nationally, providing proactive legal advice
*
Drafting, negotiating and overseeing settlement agreements and senior-level employment contracts
*
Advising on disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, redundancy and regulatory matters across the FS sector
*
Partnering with HR and senior stakeholders to shape employment policies and risk mitigation strategies
*
Mentoring junior legal colleagues and contributing to best‑practice processes and training
The Successful Applicant
The Senior Employment Solicitor should be:
*
A solicitor or equivalent with at least 8+ years PQE in employment law, with FS experience preferred
*
Skilled in complex employment litigation avoidance, settlements, TUPE and restructures
*
Comfortable advising senior internal stakeholders and liaising effectively with HR and compliance teams
*
Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a national legal function
*
Confident in drafting policies and delivering training to non‑legal colleagues
