Head Chef - Premium Pub & Dining Venue
Salary: £45,000

A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a busy, quality-led pub and dining venue. This site combines volume, fresh ingredients, and a strong guest following - ideal for a chef who loves being hands-on while driving standards, culture, and commercial performance.

What We're Looking For:
* Hands-on leader - confident running the grill, managing the pass, and setting pace & standards
* Calm under pressure - strong ticket management, organisation and communication in high-volume service
* Operationally strong - rota management, forecasting, stock control and performance reviews
* Standards-driven - solid knowledge of H&S, EHO compliance, HACCP, allergens and daily due diligence
* Commercially aware - strong GP control, waste reduction, supplier relationships and stock management
Highly Desirable:
* Experience in high-volume gastropub or steak-led concepts
* Passion for seasonal cooking, butchery skills, and weekly specials
* Proven success developing and mentoring junior chefs
* A collaborative approach with FOH to deliver seamless guest experiences
