Full-Time | £40,000 – £46,500 (DOE) + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

We're working with a well-established, family-run refrigeration specialist known for delivering reliable, high-quality solutions across Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join their team.

The Role
This is a mobile position covering Northamptonshire and surrounding counties, working across a varied client base including retail, hospitality, and specialist environments.
You will:
* Carry out reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance
* Diagnose and resolve faults on commercial refrigeration systems
* Support installation work when required
* Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
Equipment You'll Work On
* Cold rooms
* Cellar cooling systems
* Ice machines
* Display units
* Commercial fridges & freezers
Essential Requirements
* Valid F-Gas certification (including hydrocarbon refrigerants)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial refrigeration
* Proven experience working on a range of commercial refrigeration systems
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Willingness to participate in an on-call rota (evenings/weekends)
Desirable (Not Essential)
* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
* Experience with installation work
* Previous experience in customer-facing roles
* Knowledge of a variety of manufacturers' equipment
