HR Advisor | Engineering & Manufacturing | Uxbridge, on site (first 6 months) | up to £40K

We are partnering with a long established engineering and manufacturing organisation in Uxbridge to appoint a confident, solutions focused HR Advisor. This is a new position, designed to strengthen a growing HR Business Partner model and provide hands on support to a fast paced operational site.

Reporting into a Senior HR Business Partner, you will work alongside a close knit team supporting multiple departments across the site. Initially, your focus will sit within manufacturing and engineering, where activity is high and there is meaningful ER work to get involved in.
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence and conduct cases
* Coordinating meetings, note taking and, where appropriate, leading cases
* Providing clear, practical advice aligned to policy and best practice
* Supporting interviews, screening and candidate experience
* Contributing to recruitment processes as the organisation continues to grow
* Supporting engagement initiatives following survey feedback
* Assisting with pulse surveys and exit interview analysis
* Identifying trends and sharing insights with the HR team
* Providing day to day guidance to managers across the business
* Supporting policy updates and continuous improvement
* Contributing to the development of the HR Business Partner model
* Acting as a trusted, approachable point of contact for managers

* Experience within engineering, manufacturing, logistics or a similar environment
* Able to manage multiple priorities and work at pace
* Confident communicator who can build credibility with managers
* Proactive and solutions focused, someone who takes ownership
* Comfortable in a non corporate, evolving environment
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
* CIPD is not essential, your experience, attitude and approach are what matter most
