Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using project management software.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for scheduling.
* Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project timelines.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential delays.
* Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders on project status.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the planning process.
* Assist in the procurement process by estimating timelines for resource acquisition.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Construction Planner or similar role in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
* Proficiency in project management software (eg, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
