Job Description
* Process and verify employee payroll data with accuracy and efficiency.
* Maintain up-to-date payroll records in compliance with internal policies and regulations.
* Assist with the preparation and submission of statutory returns, such as PAYE and National Insurance.
* Respond to payroll queries from staff and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team on monthly and annual reporting tasks.
* Support audits by providing payroll-related documentation and information as required.
* Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation and guidelines.
* Contribute to process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
* Previous experience in payroll operations or a related role.
