Electrical Engineering Trainer/Assessor – Merseyside
Up to £35,000 p/a • Full-time, permanent
We are working with an education provider in the Merseyside area who are looking for an Electrical Engineering Trainer/Assessor to join their team.
The role is a permanent full-time position, comprising 38.75 hours per week (8:00am until 4:30pm, with a 3:15pm finish on Fridays). You would be based at the education provider's centre in the Merseyside area and train Electrical Engineering apprentices on their level 2/3 EAL course.
The teaching delivery would be practical and workshop-based, focusing on activities such as wiring, inspection & testing, etc. You would also travel to workplaces in the local area to assess learners on their practical Electrical Engineering skills.
Responsibilities
* Train Electrical Engineering apprentices on level 2/3 EAL course (practical and workshop-based delivery).
* Carry out travel to local workplaces to assess learners’ practical electrical skills.
* Support learners in developing practical competencies such as wiring, inspection & testing.
Qualifications
* A level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification
* Experience of wiring
* Experience of inspection & testing
* A desire to pass on your knowledge
Please note the education provider can consider skilled industry candidates who are looking to move into training and can assist them with achieving teaching/assessment qualifications on the job.
