We are looking to recruit a Driver for the NHS Highland Transport Department located on Stadium Road, Inverness. Applicants should be experienced drivers familiar with transport regulations, Health & Safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Road Risk, and Moving and Handling Regulations. The ideal candidate will be organised, highly motivated, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should enjoy working with both transport staff and customers, have a friendly and helpful attitude, and know the local and Highland areas well. A valid Driving Licence covering category B, and ideally C1, is required. It is also preferred that candidates hold an up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a valid tachograph digicard. You must be capable of driving vehicles up to 7.5-tonne Large Goods Vehicles. The role involves delivering laundry, mail, medical equipment, specimens, and supplies to hospitals, GP practices, health centres, and care homes across the NHS Highland region.
