Job Description:
Technician – Support ServicesFTE salary £28,08012 week sickness cover, full time, 37 hours per week - Monday to FridayHuntingdon
Key responsibilities:
* Provide support to the Support Services Manager
* Ensure all visitors to site are signed in and supervised during their visit
* Prepare meeting rooms and ensure all consumables are available
* Make staff aware of deliveries
* Procurement activities including SAP ordering, monitoring of temporary staff contracts/orders, and day to day operation of contracts for the supply of lab chemicals and equipment
* Be the first point of contact to deal with any enquiries relating to ordering or delivery of goods and / or services
* Deal with general lab service queries
* Maintain SAP in line with training and guidance
* Accurate and current records of spend to be kept
* Maintenance of monthly standard reports
What does it take to be successful?
* Able to communicate with people at all levels
* Reliable and committed
* Able to deal with answering account queries, processing payments and being an excellent first point of contact
* Ideally you will be SAP trained
* Ability to help customers over the phone and in person
* Able to prioritise effectively
* Accurate data input into various databases and spreadsheets
