This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on, commercially astute finance leader to build the finance function from the ground up, implement robust processes, and act as a true business partner to the Managing Director and US stakeholders.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the UK finance function, initially as a standalone role, with responsibility for designing and embedding scalable processes to support significant growth and future acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting a full review of the end-to-end finance process, from purchase to sale through to reporting, and presenting findings and recommendations to the Managing Director.
2. Designing and implementing robust financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
3. Acting as the primary finance partner to the MD, providing insight beyond the numbers to help manage and grow the business.
4. Developing monthly management reporting packs for the US ownership group, including variance analysis and performance commentary.
5. Monitoring financial performance, cash flow, and working capital, including cash collection and expense management.
