Our client is a leading company in their sector. They are a bespoke machinery manufacturer and a leading company in their market. They are also part of a rapidly growing group of companies. Due to fast growth they are looking for an experience Sales Manager with industrial automation experience to help build their sales division.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Adopting a consultative sales approach to delivering complex engineering solutions
* Leading the sales team by defining clear targets
* Liaising with engineering and manufacturing departments to develop sales proposals
* Developing and maintaining sales pipelines
* Effectively utilising CRM software (Salesforce)
* Develop and implement sales plans
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge of industrial automation is highly desirable
* Experience within a relevant manufacturing industry
* Experience as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager or in a similar role
* Having a solid engineering understanding in order to understand customer requirements
