Where Will You Be Working?
You will be part of a vibrant community in Salford, where we operate 18 homes dedicated to supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, diverse abilities, and health challenges. In this role, you will work closely with individuals who have complex needs and may exhibit challenging behaviours.
As our service operates 24/7, flexibility is key! Your shifts may include mornings, evenings, sleep shifts, waking nights, and weekends/bank holidays.
We utilize a digital social care record system to streamline daily tasks, allowing you to focus more on what truly matters: the people we support.
Your Role and Responsibilities
This is a dynamic, hands-on position where no two days are alike! Your responsibilities will include:
* Promoting the independence of the individuals we support
* Assisting with daily activities such as cleaning, cooking, and planning outings
* Organizing engaging activities both at home and in the community
* Helping residents develop life skills and pursue personal interests
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
* Providing personal care as needed
* Conducting manual handling tasks
* Supporting medication management
* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service monitoring
