Job Title
Location: Hunters Down Care Home, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom
Pay: £13.45 - £13.85 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full-time, Night shifts 8pm - 8am Monday-Sunday, and Day shifts 8am-8pm. Alternate weekends required.
About the role
As a Care Assistant, you will assist with mealtimes, personal care and complete documentation, including daily record keeping, charts, and care plans. You will engage in meaningful activities with residents, promote independence, choice, dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
* Provide physical, emotional and social support to residents.
* Assist with meals, personal care and documentation.
* Maintain accurate records and care plans.
* Engage residents in activities to promote wellbeing.
* Ensure independence, choice, dignity and respect for all residents.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in a care environment (care home, home care worker or caring for a loved one). Desired but not mandatory.
* A caring, kind approach and a desire to work with older people.
