Job description
Young person with complex health needs is looking for fun, dynamic and passionate people to join his team.
Role is based upon a 24-hour package of care in the client's family home (M28). Offers of employment will be subject to successful completion of DBS disclosure and proof of right to work in the UK.
Experience: Experience in the field of complex health care is welcomed but not essential as full training will be provided. It is the responsibility of the complex health care worker assist the young person in all areas of personal, social, educational and domestic needs.
Requirements: A driver is essential as you will be expected to use the client's vehicle to transport him to appointments and activities. Candidates will be expected to assist with patient handling and use of equipment. Training for the use of equipment will be provided.
Job responsibilities: (not exhaustive)
* Meet all social, domestic, health and emotional needs of client.
* Be proficient in the delivery of complex health care tasks, once trained.
* Be fun, dynamic, stimulating ad resourceful to optimise the clients social needs and quality of life.
* Be respectful of the client and their family.
* Respect and maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
* Be punctual, committed and ready to work.
* Drivers with full clean UK licence are welcomed.
Shift pattern: 3 x 12 hour waking nights per week, including weekends and bank holidays.
