Offer description

A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to work on Mulberry Ward, which is located within the grounds of the Great Oaks site & offers an inpatient facility for predominantly ages 18-65 adults experiencing functional mental health issues. We do aid in the management of combined mental illness & frailty, also accommodating an all-age approach within a frailty framework.

Patient care is governed by our multi-disciplinary collaborative approach where extensive assessment and individualised treatment plans form part of our pathways whilst stabilising acute symptoms. We are committed to the ethos of the recovery model promoting hope, optimism and innovative ways of working in partnership with patients.

If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification.

As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Apprenticeships can help you to develop the skills, knowledge and know-how in order to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.

We are looking for people that will provide compassionate, safe and effective, person-centred care to our patients and who will strive to be the best they can be in their role. If you are committed to enabling the assessment, recovery and management of individuals with complex and acute mental health needs, we would like to hear from you to ensure we provide continued high-quality care whilst supporting the existing team in a dynamic clinical environment.
