Responsibilities
The Opportunity: Horsham is a busy, friendly library in a spacious building on two floors, located in the town centre close to shops and services. We are looking to recruit a Senior Library Assistant to join our senior team and support our team of Library Assistants. The duties of a Senior Library Assistant are wide ranging across many areas of the library service and include delivering a customer-facing library service and high-quality enquiry service. You will provide information accurately and signpost to other services where necessary. You will be responsible for supervising and supporting Library Assistants and volunteers to ensure they deliver a high standard of service to our customers. We are looking for someone who understands the power of community and the importance of fostering a love for reading in people of all ages.
